SCX consists of chemically attached hydrophilic surface derivatized to form sulfonic acid functionality. The technique of SAM is used in the bonding process to significantly increase the functional ligand density.
Application	SCX columns for separation of 1°, 2° and 3° amines from biological fluids. These columns are excellent for the separation of proteins, peptides and other various cationic compounds.
