Description	This resin is receiving considerable interest as supports in organic synthesis as reagents and catalyst. The washing ifficiencies of a chromophore and the reaction rates of a classical Merrifield resin. Macroporous chloromethyl resin as a base matrix for solid phase scavengers is superior to the more traditional Merrifield resins when non-swelling solvents like acetonitrile are used. A small library of sulfonamides is generated in high purity as an example.
