Description This is a Perfluorinated PK-reinforced Cation Exchange Membrane (CEM) with low resistance, high mechanical stability, high selectivity, and high chemical and oxidative stability. The polymer composition of this membrane is based on the perfluoro sulfonic acid resin with long side chains. The mechanical reinforcement is composed of PEEK or PK and it has an open mesh style.
Density 13 - 14 mg·cm-2
Application Redox-Flow Battery, e.g. Vanadium-Redox-Flow Battery (VRB), using aqueous acidic conditions.
Storage The membrane can be stored dry for an unlimited amount of time. However, the membrane has to be conditioned (washed and rinsed) prior to use.
